Why do we put ourselves under stress?

To all the volunteers who helped my 12 year old daughter ( Taea Pepere) on the above date after she took a hiding from a dumpster wave...THANKYOU.  Unfortunately she did fracture her tibia quite badly but we are grateful it wasn't something worse and once again thank you for assisting her on the day. A donation will follow shortly.

Congratulations to Patrol 4

 I am told that it was a fine effort by mostly Cadet members, who were first to respond when their attention was drawn to a person in distress at the edge of the water, just as they were packing up for the day. Congratulations to the Cadets involved ( it was prober ably the first major incident most of them have attended and they accredited themselves well).
