Swimming Proficiency

Swimming proficiency is conducted at the beginning of every season, prior to the junior program commencing. Each child must be proficient for their age group in order to participate in water based activities.

Children in the Under 7 age group do not enter the water past their knees and do not have to perform a proficiency swim.

All members MUST complete the timed swim before being eligible to compete in any event at a carnival. This open water swim is a reflection of a competition swim course.
