The Members' Handbook has been developed to give you an overall insight into the operations, procedures and benefits of being a member of Floreat SLSC. Whether you are a newly joined member with little or no knowledge of our Club; an up-and-coming Cadet from the Floreat Nippers; or a long-time member requiring further information on one or more areas of the Club’s operation, the Handbook contains valuable information for your involvement in our surf lifesaving movement.
For a thorough understanding of our rules, members are referred to more detailed documentation such as the Club Constitution and By-Laws, which contain much more information than what is summarised within the Handbook. There are also many policies and procedures governing the day-to-day running of the Club. The Handbook attempts to point you in the right direction, however for more detail please speak to the appropriate Board Director, Committee Member, Patrol Captain or our Club Manager. An informed member has the ability to make the right decisions about the path they would like to follow within the surf lifesaving movement. We trust that you will find the Members' Handbook both informative and helpful, and hope you enjoy a long and rewarding membership with Floreat Surf Life Saving Club.
